Did you ever saw something like DESUDESUDESUDESU or SAGE GOES INTO ALL FIELDS and wondered what does it mean ? List of internet meme’s is big and new memes are being created every day so i will try to explain just basic - the most popular ones.

You can read definition of word MEME at wikipedia but honestly, i have never seen worse definition. 1 page of crappy text and after reading it, you have no idea what meme is. MEME is something, which got repeated so many times that it got funny and everyone remembers it. Meme can be image, qoute or just one word.

Internet memes started ( as 90% of original content of internet ) at 4chan. I know that there is more than 1000 internet memes, so i will try to write just about the most popular ones.

• DESUDESUDESU - repeating word DESU. Desu is japanese word. In English it means ‘to be‘. But one time it appeared in some manga where one girl always ended sentenses with it. Her name is Suiseiseki - too hard to spell - so she is called just desu. In short - Desu is being used when you want to insult someone.
• SAGE - When you enter sage in email field (at chans) your reply wouldnt count - it wouldnt keep the post alive. Sage comes from japan word meaning to lower.
• SAGE GOES INTO ALL FIELDS - meme from SAGE. Because when you have one cool word, you just have to use it everywhere.
• 

  PedoBear - You know, all japans are sick pedophiles. So prefix pedo is redundant in japan. PedoBear is originaly from japan word Kuma. When you translate it, you get Bear, when you move it to another country ( you need to assign prefix ) you get PedoBear. PedoBear appears in every post containing Child pornography or pictures of lolitas. Often, in poorly photoshop compilations.

• un/successful troll - when you make up a story and they believe you - you are successfull troll

• copypasta - popular tool for spamming. you just copy some story from internet (e.g. about you fucking your sister and at finish you insert Bel Air meme - when people actually read your copypasta - they are trolled. When they know its copypasta - you are unsuccessful troll.
• Bel-Air - When you are trolling people, and you have long story - you just need some cool ending. What can be more cool than opening song from popular series the fresh prince ? most of copypastas end with “and my mom got scared And said, “You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.”
• BARREL ROLL - when you are in trouble, just do a barrel roll - originated from some nintendo game. Barell roll is always the best solution to all problems.
• Caturday - cool name for day, in which pictures of cats will be posted - later someone has stolen these pictures and publicated them on his blog ( see i can haz cheesburger )
• LOLcat - image with cat and funny text in cat language posted at Caturday
• Delicious Cake - meme from game Portal. Cake is delicious, you have to solve problem so you can get to it and eat it.

• ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT- originated in pulp fiction. Its used when somebody make grammar/spelling mistake - because you know - on internet imageboards you just have to spell correctly!
• I’D HIT IT ! - when you see something sexy, and you want to have sex with it
• Man The Harpoons - when you see something not sexy ( fat bitch ) you need to use harpoon to hunt it. It can also be used as I’D HIT IT WITH HARPOON/NUKE/ION CANON/….
• SAUCE - one time, on 4chan source got wordfiltered to SAUCE. ITs used when you want to know source of some porn picture. Also you can type sauce more easily with one hand than source so …

• A CAT IS FINE TOO - From a Tsukihime doujin in which the main character, Shiki, is depicted as a pedophile. He chases around Len, a loli succubus with the power of manipulating dreams, with intent to sex her. After getting caught by Arcueid (a Mary Sue vampire), Ciel (French nun who does anal) and Akiha (his sister who’s into incest), he proceeds to kill the three of them in one blow just to be able to rape the loli. He eventually corners her to a point where she can’t escape, so she turns into a cat, a common frustration to aroused men. She thinks she is saved, but Shiki, who basically just rapes everything, unzips his fly and says ‘A CAT IS FINE TOO…‘. (source)
• Divide by zero - its know fact that humans are not able to divide by zero. Well, the 4channers are able to divide by zero - and when they do it, something bad happends - black hole appears ( or something other )
• Goodnight Sweet prince - term used mostly to troll people - you just write name, year of birth - actual year, this meme and include photo - and now, everyone is searching the web to aknowledge if the person really died. Its origin is in Robocop/Shakespeare.
• Its over nine thousand !!! - from some manga, where were power levels and power level of one person was over nine thousand - today, it replaces every huge number - e.g. you wont say it happened in country 5000 miles away - you say it happened in country over nine thousand miles away!
• An Hero - meme started by Mitchell Henderson who killed himself because he lost his ipod. An means Anti.
• 

  TITS OR GTFO - old meme. When some camwhore appears she has to show uncovered tits -> if not, gtfo

• Camwhore/Attention whore - girls which has been molested by their dads, cant get real boyfriends and they are getting attention because they shows themselves naked on the internet.
• Stick it to pooper - meme often used with camwhores - when they show tits, the crowd is forcing them to stick something into their anus.
• timestamp - often used with camwhores. they need to type date on some paper/body part. If they do so, the crowd believe that they are real and not just some repost from porn page.
• One does not simply X into Mordor - from lord of the rings, ridiculled so many times .. ( eg one does not simply telnet/drive/swing…/…/… into mordor
• So i herd u liek mudkips - translated intoi human language : so you love pokemons
• EFG - Epic Fail Guy - everyone of ‘us’ - just stickman with mask from V for Vendetta failing classic life situations
• Profit - originated from south park series. Its usually plan. eg - 1. Get Alcohol, 2. Drive, 3. ???, 4. Profit!. You can make up first things in list, but the end must be ??? and Profit. Nobody knows what ??? stands for. Not even south parkers.
